Description
On-Grid Solar Systems
An On-Grid Solar System is a solar power solution that is connected directly to the electricity grid. It allows users to generate solar power during the day, consume it in real-time, export surplus energy to the grid, and draw power from the grid when solar generation is not available.
Unlike off-grid systems, on-grid systems do not use batteries, making them more affordable and low maintenance.
How an On-Grid Solar System Works
Solar panels generate DC electricity from sunlight.
The on-grid inverter converts DC power into AC power usable by appliances.
Solar power is first consumed within the premises.
Excess electricity is exported to the grid through a net meter.
During night or low sunlight, power is automatically drawn from the grid.
